Seawoods is a railway station on the Central (Harbour) line of the Mumbai
Suburban Railway in the Nerul node.
The Seawood Station plot was sold to L&T for development.
The plot was the highest bid that Navi Mumbai has ever recieved.
The plot went for Rs. 1,810 Crores.
The Seawoods Station was named after CIDCO's flagship township,
the NRI Seawoods Estate, that was built to attract returning NRI's
from Hong kong and other parts of the world.
The Seawood Station will have a Club House, IT Park, Super Market & a mall.
It is the largest station in India and would be located in maps.
Seawoods is a the south west part of Nerul, it is located within Nerul.
Management college (SIMS) Sterling institute of management
studies, a business school in Navi Mumbai is also near seawoods station.
It also houses a Pharmacy College by the name Sterling Institute of Pharmacy.
There are a number of schools e.g. Podar International School, DAV Public School,
S.S High School, Don Bosco Senior Secondary School,
The Presentation School coming up in this area.
There are a number of hobby classes. One among them being Rajeev Drawing Classes.
A big 300 bed Sushrusha Hospital is also under construction in this area.
Seawoods also has easy access to one of Navi Mumbai's famous attractions -
the Parsik Hill,
